Cassandra (“Cassie”) Caverhill is a Canadian-American poet, editor, and creative writing instructor. She’s the author of Mayflies (Finishing Line Press, 2020) and a winner of the AWP Intro Journals Award. Her work has most recently appeared in MoonPark Review, 101 Words, Paragraph Planet, Six Sentences, Bottle Rocket, and is forthcoming in Mad Persona Magazine, The Broken Teacup and Oracle Fine Arts Review. She’s an MFA poetry graduate from Bowling Green State University and she currently volunteers as a prose reader for The Chestnut Review.
Cassandra also earned a certificate in editing from the University of Chicago and an honours BA in drama and communication studies from the University of Windsor. She’s an avid music collector and concert-goer who cut her teeth programming for radio, interviewing bands, and writing record reviews. A karaoke and cycling enthusiast, Cassandra lives and teaches in the borderlands of Windsor, Ontario.
