"Mayflies" Now Available at Biblioasis

Mayflies, my debut chapbook from Finishing Line Press, is now available for purchase in Windsor, Ontario’s premier bookshop, Biblioasis.

As an emerging writer, it’s difficult to find community support for your creative efforts; area bookstores don’t often take chances on writers that aren’t established yet, because shelf space is limited and they’re worried the inventory won’t sell. Even if you’re backed by a publisher, rejection is likely, as I’ve experienced time and time again in Ann Arbor’s literary market. So, to say it means a great deal to me that Mayflies can be bought from a brick-and-mortar store in my hometown is an understatement.

My deepest thanks to the booksellers of Biblioasis for taking a chance on a poetry book about my experience living in the Rose City.
