Enrolling Now for Creative Writing Classes with the City of Windsor
This fall, I’ll be teaching again with the City of Windsor on Monday’s at Forest Glade Community Centre (FGCC) and Thursday’s at Mackenzie Hall (MH).
The city is offering two different class segments at both locations, one for tweens ages 12-15, and another for adults aged 16 and up.
The first sessions run from September 9 to October 21 (FGCC) and September 12 to October 24 (MH) and the second from October 28 to December 9 (FGCC) and November 7 to December 12 (MH).
Online registration has officially begun. There is a cap of 10 students per segment.
Here’s the course description:
“This class focuses on contemplative reading as well as prompts for generating micro memoir, flash fiction, poetry and prose that will turn seemingly mundane moments pulled from life into expressions of art. We will also collaborate and share work drafted in class, participating in informal critiques to learn what resonates with readers. First-time writers and experienced authors welcome.”
